CHAIRMAN OF THE HALK MASLAKHATY OF THE MILLI GENGESH GOT ACQUAINTED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ADMINISTRATIVE CENTER OF AKHAL VELAYAT

Today, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Akhal velayat to get acquainted with the progress of work in the new administrative center of the region.

Currently, the necessary measures are being implemented to systematically increase the pace of construction of the modern center of Akhal velayat. All this is a visible evidence of the successful implementation of the tasks outlined in the large-scale urban development program initiated by Arkadag under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Here, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh had a conversation with the adviser on the organization of World Records Aydin Turkgucu, who expressed gratitude to Arkadag for the time and hospitality provided for the meeting and noted that it was a great honor for him to be in Turkmenistan.

As the guest emphasized, the Guinness Book Records is one of the most popular printed publications in the world. The inclusion of national objects in it, distinguished by an original architectural solution, causes an increase in the international authority of Turkmenistan, serves as confirmation that the national values of the Turkmen people are recognized in the world and are exemplary.

Aydin Turkgucu informed about organizational issues, the purpose and objectives of the seminar “Organic Melon Cultivation and Its Contribution to Ecology”, which is scheduled to be held in a new center of Akhal velayat. As noted, the uniqueness of the nature of this corner of the Turkmen land, the agriculture and gardening developed here eloquently testify to the ecological well-being of the region. In this regard, the choice of the location for the seminar is not accidental.

As Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized, the Turkmen people with a thousand-year history have been creating a national treasure for centuries, which has been recognized by the international community. Akhal-Teke horses, Turkmen carpets and Alabaies are the national pride of Turkmens, they were created by the diligence and talent of our glorious ancestors who made a significant contribution to world culture.

During the meeting, the Hero-Arkadag noted that the area where the new center of Akhal velayat is being built is the birthplace of Akhal-Teke people exceptional in their beauty and grace. A big role in the nurture of this breed of horses was played by natural features – healthy mountain air, the Altyyap and Sekizyap rivers, which originate from healing springs. The greening of the eastern and western outskirts of the new center of Akhal velayat determines the formation of a favorable climatic environment here, Arkadag said.

Today Turkmenistan is developing at a high pace, the country’s political, economic, cultural and humanitarian achievements are recognized internationally. Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty noted that when implementing large-scale programs and projects, we do not limit ourselves to using traditional methods, but also focus on the harmonious use of best practices, which provides a positive result.

Speaking about the numerous original and peculiar architectural objects built in the beautiful Turkmen capital, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh underlined that measures are being taken at the state level in Turkmenistan to ensure the sustainable development of the country, the approval of the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society and the development of ecological consciousness among the population. All these are the priorities of the modern agenda.

Hero-Arkadag also noted that on the upcoming Sunday, Turkmenistan will celebrate the Turkmen Alabai Holiday, which, like the Akhal-Teke horse, has become part of the national treasure. Festive events, as well as sculptures installed in urban centers that perpetuate the images of these amazing creatures, testify to the people’s reverence for their heritage.

Highlighting that it is a great honor for him to take part in the organization and holding of a large-scale seminar, Aydin Turkgucu once again expressed gratitude for the assistance in its holding.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the center of Akhal velayat D.Orazov and the city khyakim Sh.Durdylyev.

It was informed about the progress of construction, preparations for the seminar, which will be held in the open air on the territory of the center, as well as on issues included in its agenda.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the center of Akhal velayat D.Orazov reported on the measures taken to organize a seminar with the participation of 500 specialists at the proper level.

Noting that in recent years Turkmenistan has been becoming a center for international conferences and forums, the Hero-Arkadag stressed the importance of the upcoming seminar for increasing the authority of our country on the world stage.

A number of constructed facilities and events held on the territory of Turkmenistan were entered in the Guinness Book Records, which demonstrates the exemplary work carried out in Turkmenistan in this direction, as well as national values and architecture, the Hero-Arkadag continued.

Expressing sincere gratitude to Arkadag and the head of state for the huge support, the chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the center of Akhal velayat D.Orazov assured that every effort will be made to successfully complete the tasks in accordance with the requirements.

Speaking about the significance of the upcoming seminar “Organic Melon Cultivation and Its Contribution to Ecology”, Arkadag expressed confidence that this event will be held at a high organizational level.

Concluding the working meeting, Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of optimal implementation of the scheduled plans.

Then Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the drafts and location schemes of the facilities being built and planned for construction in the new modern administrative center of the region. Among them are landscaping projects around the sculpture of Akhan horse, where fountains will be erected and green spaces will be planted.

According to the draft, the complex will represent a single ensemble at the main intersection of the avenue of the same name, which will embellish the architectural appearance of the new center.

After reviewing the drafts and schemes, the Hero-Arkadag made a number of comments and made appropriate adjustments. It is important to take a responsible and comprehensive approach to the aesthetic aspect of new buildings, Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty stressed.

Speaking about the ongoing construction works, Hero-Arkadag stated the need to ensure their high quality and compliance with environmental standards, which are the main factors for the successful implementation of urban development projects. The measures, taken in the country to create park complexes and green zones, are destined to promote the formation of a climate favorable for the health of the population.

Arkadag added that earlier the snow cover on the Kopetdag ridges foreshadowed the onset of winter, and its melting – the beginning of spring. However, in recent years, due to global climate change, precipitation has decreased. Therefore, the current situation requires coordinated efforts of scientists and specialists.

In order to maintain a favorable environmental situation in our country, mass landscaping campaigns are being conducted to promote improvement of the climatic background.

Man-made forests, parks and gardens have appeared on a large scale in all regions of Turkmenistan. The green zones formed around each city and settlement create a favorable climate and ecological situation. This confirms that the noble deeds initiated by the Hero-Arkadag are currently being successfully continued by the President of Turkmenistan.
