A literary evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi was held in Herat city

On April 20, 2024, at the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Herat, Afghanistan, a literary evening was held in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet Magtymguly Fragi with the participation of representatives of the Turkmen diaspora and local cultural authorities.

Speakers at the literary evening noted that under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, national culture and art in the country have reached great heights of development, and the creative heritage of Magtymguly Fragi is being recognized throughout the world.

At the event, participants exchanged views on the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi. They noted that the work of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi influenced not only Turkmen literature and the spiritual world, but also the peoples of the East.
